Services can be booked on a regular schedule or as a one off clean, based on the agreed scope of works. Our services are designed for cleaning purposes and do not include restoration or repair work. The following items are not included unless quoted separately:

  • Mould removal
  • Heavy stain restoration
  • Repairs or maintenance
  • Biohazard, sharps or hazardous waste removal
  • Rubbish removal beyond standard bins
  • Cleaning of specialised equipment or machinery
  • Any work outside the agreed scope

Additional services such as floor stripping and sealing, upholstery cleaning or periodic deep cleans must be requested in advance and agreed in writing. Permanent stains, aging surfaces and pre-existing damage cannot be guaranteed to improve.

2. Site Requirements

The site must be accessible and safe for our team at the scheduled time. Clients must ensure:

  • Electricity and running water are connected and available
  • Work areas are reasonably clear of stock, equipment and personal items
  • Our team is told about any hazards, restricted areas or site induction requirements before the first clean
  • Any special handling needs are disclosed at booking, such as medical equipment, food preparation areas or sensitive documents
  • A safe environment is provided for staff, in line with workplace health and safety requirements

If utilities are disconnected or the site is unsafe or inaccessible on arrival, the visit will be treated as a missed visit and charged as outlined in our Cancellations section. Sites that are heavily soiled, hazardous or significantly different from what was described may be re-quoted or declined.

3. Quotes, Scope and Variations

All quotes are based on the information provided by the client and, where possible, an onsite inspection. Each quote outlines the agreed scope of works, cleaning frequency and price.

Final pricing may change if the size, condition, usage or scope of the site differs from what was described or inspected. Any changes will be discussed and agreed with the client before extra work goes ahead.

Requests for extra cleaning, one off tasks or changes to the regular schedule must be made in writing (email is fine) by an authorised contact for the business. Additional work will be charged at our current rates unless otherwise agreed.

For ongoing service agreements, prices may be reviewed annually or when there is a significant change in the site, scope or operating costs. We will give at least 30 days written notice before any price change takes effect.

Travel or callout charges may apply for urgent requests, after hours work outside the agreed schedule, or locations outside our normal service area.

4. Service Agreements and Notice Period

Regular cleaning services are provided under an ongoing service agreement, which begins from the date of the first scheduled clean. The agreement continues until either party ends it by giving written notice.

Either party may end the agreement by giving at least 30 days written notice. Services will continue as scheduled during the notice period, and all cleans completed up to the end date will be invoiced as normal.

If a separate signed contract specifies a minimum term, that minimum term applies and the client is responsible for the agreed fees for the remainder of the term if they end it early.

We may suspend or end services immediately if:

  • Invoices remain unpaid past the due date
  • The site becomes unsafe for our team
  • Access is repeatedly unavailable
  • Our staff are subjected to abusive or threatening behaviour
  • One off cleans, such as builders final cleans, end of lease commercial cleans or carpet steam cleans, are not ongoing agreements and are covered by the quote for that job.

5. Payment Terms

For regular cleaning services, invoices are issued monthly in arrears and are due within 14 days of the invoice date, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.

For one off cleans, such as builders final cleans, end of lease commercial cleans, carpet steam cleans or high pressure washing, payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All prices include GST unless stated otherwise. Payment can be made by bank transfer or card.

If payment is not received by the due date:

  • We may pause or suspend services until the account is brought up to date
  • Late payment fees may apply
  • Any reasonable costs of recovering overdue amounts, including debt collection fees, may be charged to the client

If you are having trouble paying an invoice, please contact us early so we can work something out.

6. Cancellations and Missed Visits

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a clean. Notice can be given by phone, email or text to our office.

For regular cleaning services, if a clean is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or our team cannot complete the visit because of denied access, disconnected utilities or an unsafe site, the visit will be charged at the normal rate.

For one off cleans, late cancellations, denied access or disconnected utilities may incur a cancellation fee of $60, or a higher fee where a larger team or specialised equipment has already been allocated to the job.

Public holiday closures or planned site shutdowns should be told to us at least 7 days in advance so the schedule can be adjusted without charge.

If we need to reschedule a clean due to staff illness, severe weather or circumstances outside our control, we will let you know as early as possible and arrange a suitable alternative time at no extra cost.

7. Keys, Alarm Codes and Site Security

Where our team needs keys, swipe cards, access codes or alarm codes to clean outside business hours, these must be provided by an authorised contact for the business.

We will:

  • Store keys and access cards securely and only give them to staff assigned to your site
  • Keep alarm codes and access details confidential
  • Lock up and set alarms as instructed when leaving the site
  • Return all keys and access cards when the service agreement ends

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing correct and up to date access instructions and alarm codes
  • Letting us know straight away if codes, locks or access arrangements change
  • Securing cash, valuables, confidential documents and sensitive items before each clean

If an alarm is triggered because codes or instructions were incorrect or not updated, any callout or monitoring fees are the client’s responsibility. If a key or access card is lost while in our care, we will cover the reasonable cost of replacement.

8. Quality Guarantee and Complaints

We stand behind our work. If something within the agreed scope has been missed or not cleaned to standard, let us know and we will make it right.

For regular cleaning services, issues must be reported within 48 hours of the clean, ideally with photos. We will fix the issue at no charge, either on a return visit or at the next scheduled clean, depending on what works best for your site.

For one off cleans, such as builders final cleans or end of lease commercial cleans, issues must be reported within 7 days of the clean with photos where possible. We will arrange a return visit to rectify anything within the original scope at no charge.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Wear and tear
  • Permanent stains or marks
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Aging surfaces
  • Areas or items outside the agreed scope
  • Mess created after our team has left the site

Refunds or credits are not issued without first giving us the opportunity to inspect and rectify the issue. If another cleaner is engaged to redo the work before we are contacted, the guarantee no longer applies.

9. Staff, Subcontractors and Safety

Services are carried out by our trained cleaning staff and approved subcontractors. All team members are briefed on your site requirements, and we aim to keep the same team on regular sites wherever possible.

Our team follows safe work practices and uses appropriate equipment and cleaning products for each site. Where a site requires a police check, Working with Children Check or site induction, please let us know at booking so we can assign suitable staff.

Clients must:

  • Tell us about any known hazards, restricted areas or safety procedures on site
  • Provide any site inductions needed before the first clean
  • Ensure staff are not exposed to unsafe conditions, aggressive behaviour or harassment

Our team may stop work and leave the site if conditions are unsafe. In that case the visit may be charged as a missed visit.

To protect our team and business, clients agree not to directly engage or employ any of our cleaning staff or subcontractors who have worked on their site, during the service agreement and for 12 months after it ends, without our written consent. If this happens, a placement fee may apply.

10. Liability and Insurance

Boost Commercial Cleaning holds $20 million public liability insurance for all cleaning operations. A copy of our certificate of currency is available on request.

If damage is caused by our team while cleaning, it must be reported within 48 hours with photos so we can inspect it and arrange a fair outcome.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Fragile, loose or unstable fixtures or items not disclosed before the clean
  • Wear and aging of surfaces, finishes or fittings
  • Cash, valuables or sensitive items left unsecured on site
  • Damage caused by faulty, poorly installed or poorly maintained fittings, equipment or surfaces
  • Loss of business, income or productivity arising from a clean
  • Issues caused by incorrect or missing information from the client

11. Documentation

We may take before and after photos of the areas we clean for quality control, training and dispute resolution. Photos are kept for internal records only and are never shared publicly without your permission.

Our team will avoid photographing people, confidential documents, screens or sensitive areas. If your site has restrictions on photos, such as medical centres, childcare centres or secure workplaces, please let us know and we will follow your requirements.

Cleaning checklists, job notes and any reports of issues may also be recorded for each visit.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to re-supplying the cleaning service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

A note on these terms: these terms set out how we work so every clean runs smoothly for your business. If anything here is unclear before you book, get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
